The hallway

Night-path lighting after a fall scare

The first useful automation in most of the homes we see is not a camera. It is a path of light from the bed to the bathroom that does not require finding a switch in the dark.

A fall on the way to the bathroom is a common scare. We do not diagnose falls and we do not sell “fall detection” as a medical device. We do set up motion- or voice-triggered lighting so the trip is lit.

  • Plug-in night path and smart bulbs — no wall-cutting for the starter.
  • Voice: “turn on the hall lights” if hands are full or arthritic.
  • Switches still work like switches if the Wi‑Fi dies.

That is usually inside the Mobility package ($2,500 project + monthly support) or, smaller, the $995 starter plus a visit. Prices are on the packages page. A written quote still comes before we order devices.

Not a medical claim Lighting does not prevent every fall. If a physician or OT has a protocol, we design around it. We are a design firm.
